These pork chops are as delicious as they are beautiful. Make them for a quick weeknight dinner or company on the weekend.

Savory Peachy Pork Chops

Sprinkle pork chops with Seasoned Salt to taste. Brown pork chops in a large, lightly greased skillet over medium high heat. Reduce heat; add glaze and peaches. Cover; cook on low heat for 10 minutes or until pork chops are cooked through. Serve warm with peaches and glaze spooned over chops. Makes 4 servings.

Tips

  • If your pork chops are more than 1 inch thick, cook them a little longer than 10 minutes. The recommended internal temperature for pork has been lowered to 145 degrees, so it’s okay if there is a little pink in the middle.
  • Boneless pork chops work well with this recipe. Pork tenderloin medallions sliced about 1½ inches thick would be delicious too.
  • Fresh peaches are readily available this time of year and can be easily substituted for the frozen peaches.
  • Garnish pork chops with fresh chopped parsley, and serve with mashed sweet potatoes and a steamed green vegetable on the side.
