Let’s Hear It for the Red, White and Blue: Patriotic Juicy Margaritas

This summer is all about the red, white and blue! Have fun with these crowd-pleasing colors and flavors.

Patriotic Juicy Margaritas

• Prepared Lovin’ Lemon Slush™ Drink Mix
• Blue food coloring
• Prepared Juicy Watermelon™ Margarita Mix

Scoop out half of the prepared Lovin’ Lemon Slush Drink Mix into a small bowl. Add enough blue food coloring to turn the slush into a lively blue color.

In wine glasses or other tall glasses, layer the blue slush mix followed by a layer of white Lovin’ Lemon Slush Mix; top with prepared Juicy Watermelon Margarita Mix. Makes about 18 servings.

Patriotic Juicy Margarita

Testing Notes:

• Use plenty of food coloring for the blue layer. As the drink freezes, it will get lighter in color.
• Garnish the glasses with little paper American flags on toothpicks.
• For another pretty presentation, fill little shooter glasses with red, white and blue frozen drinks (don’t layer) and serve on a platter.
