This month, we’re celebrating random acts of kindness and inviting everyone to “bake” someone’s day with our Citrus Sugar Cookie Mix – 10% off in November. Trick or … yummy treat! Today I was working on creating special little treats for our upcoming Halloween parties. My inspiration was my love for mini trifles or “dessert shooters” that you see at different restaurants and in festive recipe magazines. They are a great twist to any snack or treat table. The mini trifles… CONTINUE READING »

Last night my husband was working late so dinner was up to me and the kids. Because fall is arriving here in Minnesota, we were looking for something a bit heartier … and Tastefully Simple’s Mama Mia Lasagna Cups sounded amazing! While I got things started, my kids decided to venture outside. Before I knew it, I… CONTINUE READING »

Ok, raise your hands … who loves Pinterest?
It’s filled with so many fabulous ideas, though I must admit, I’m still getting the hang of it. (I also still use a flip phone circa 2002 – try not to judge.)
But I love seeing all of the cute and crafty concoctions out there, especially the kid-friendly recipes. This week it inspired me to stir up some chocolate nests with our new Mom’s No-Bake Cookie Mix. So sweet, so simple … and so utterly charming.
We all have our little indulgences. For me? It’s a dark, rich cup of steaming espresso. (We live two minutes away from the drive-thru of a major coffee chain, and well – let’s just say the entire staff knows the names of my children.) To feel less guilty about this little extravagance, I often get a special treat for my three-year-old. His favorite choice? A cake pop. With Valentine’s Day coming, it seemed like the perfect time to finally try making my own cake pops at home. This recipe features one of my all-time favorite products, and it turned out BEAUTIFULLY.
